Activities

At Hilltop House, we know how important it is to have social interaction and enriching activities to keep our residents happy and mentally alert. Each day our activity department hosts multiple morning and afternoon activities in a program designed to meet the needs, abilities, and interests of all residents. Residents are encouraged to participate in daily activities in order to lead the most fulfilling lifestyle possible. In a typical week at Hilltop House, one could enjoy an ice cream social with live entertainment, play a game of BINGO with friends, relax during a session of Tai Chi, express their creativity with a craft, renew spirituality with a church service, visit with therapy dogs, and much more. Throughout the year, we host themed family events to celebrate the holidays and seasons. In addition to the activities hosted at our facility, every month, we schedule special outings that allow for our residents to enjoy the culture, cuisine, and charm Winchester, Virginia has to offer. During these outings, we provide free transportation on our handicapped accessible bus.
