What is the difference between an Assisted Living Facility and a nursing home?

A nursing home is for someone who needs 24 hour nursing, from a licensed nurse, including people who have intravenous therapy, nasogastric tubes or are ventilator dependent.
At Hilltop House we have trained personnel, including CNAs and an LPN, to care for your medical and personal needs. We are able to care for all levels of assisted living from independent to total care.

What happens if my health needs change?

One of the best reasons to be in an Assisted Living community is because we can accommodate all levels of assisted living. We have independent living, residential living, Alzheimer's, and intensive assisted living. None of us can tell what will happen in the future, so we must be prepared for anything. At Hilltop House, you can have the peace of mind that no matter what your care needs are, you will continue to receive the same excellent care.
